Best of Aliw in Concert at Resorts World Manila

Resorts World Manila in cooperation with Aliw Awards Foundation, Inc. and Tag Media & Public Relations presents The Best of Aliw Concert at the Newport Performing Arts Theater on Oct. 11, 2016.




The first of its kind in Philippine live entertainment history, the concert will bring together Aliw Entertainers of the Year, Lifetime Achievement awardees and Hall of Famers to raise funds for Aliw’s Welfare Fund for ailing and unemployed live entertainers and for the renovation of the Christ the King Parish, District 1, Quezon City.

To take part in the concert and to give back to the foundation, several Aliw awardees will perform in The Best of Aliw. They are Rico J. Puno, Dulce, Lea Salonga, Jed Madela, Lisa MacujaElizalde, Gerphil Flores, RJ Jacinto and Imelda Papin. Lifetime Achievement awardees and Hall of Famers Halili Dance Company, The Angelos and Spirit of ’67 will also grace the show. Halili- Cruz School of Ballet wins 21 Awards at 18th Asia Pacific Dance Competition




The Halili-Cruz School of Ballet (HCSB) Philippines won 21 awards in various categories at the recently concluded 18th ASIA PACIFIC DANCE COMPETITION last August 18 – 21, 2016. The four day competition was held at the Sands Casino Theater in Macau. Halili-Cruz School of Ballet (HCSB) has represented the Philippines in this competition for the past 18 years.



This year, 75 personally trained dancers presented 40 original choreographed entries that garnered the following awards:
